Hello and welcome to Thorpe Marriott Church

The Guidance received from the Methodist Church on 17th March 2020 is that all worship services are suspended for the time being in line with Government guidance.  So it is with a sad heart we are having to close our doors.

Not only will this affect our services, we are cancelling any activities we have planned, along with activities run by others that use the church.

We have put together some daily prayers and readings based on the Methodist prayer handbook, you can find them here

Sunday service videos prepared by our section and the circuit go live at 10.30am on Sunday mornings.

There is also a reflection from our minster Rev Mary Sachikonye here, and Pastoral Letters from Rev’d Julian M. Pursehouse District Chairman.

Foodbank – we have received a message from the Norwich Food Bank, if you feel you are able to help at this time of need they would be very grateful.

The Archbishop of Canterbury has launched a dial-in worship phone line, further details can be found on their website, please share with those that do not have internet access.

There is a Festival of Hope virtual prom praise on the 2nd May 2020 at 7.30pm, this annual event is usually held in the Albert Hall in London, but due to the lockdown has been replaced with this virtual prom.

As we will not be meeting for worship on Sundays the Methodist website has worship sheets that can be used during this difficult time.  They can be found here.

If you need to contact us, either contact our Minister directly or use our contact form.

May God keep you safe during this difficult time.

Our Minister
